With a mountain bike, all routes around Damüls are open to you: whether you want to do a round tour via Oberdamüls or transport your bike by train to a more distant starting point and then cycle back to Damüls, biking in the Bregenzerwald will be unforgettable ...
- Those who don't have much time will enjoy the shortUgaloop: you only need about half an hour for the 2.5 km long and easy loop from the Uga valley station via Riedboden and Sunnegg back to the starting point.
- TheHahnenkopf circular tour, which takes you from the Faschinajoch over the Hahnenkopf and up to the Franz-Josef Hütte for refreshments, requires a little more stamina. Strengthened, you return via the Ischgavelsaalpe, Hahnenkopf and Franz-Josef Hütte. Plan 2.5-3 hours for the 5.3 km.
- Abike trip to Auoffers you wonderful scenery and plenty of downhill runs. Start at the Uga valley station in the direction of Faschina. Before the tunnel entrance, turn left onto a forest road into the Tiefenwald forest, which you follow to the rear Bödmenalpe. The route via the Gumpenalpe and Vordere Kriegbodenalpe is a little demanding, but the subsequent descent to the Schneelochalpe and via the Laternser Argen to Au rewards you for your efforts.
