Excursion to the mountain lake in the Bregenzerwald.
Lake Fontanella
Natural bathing lake in the mountains.
The Fontanella bathing lake in the Bregenzerwald is located in the middle of a magnificent mountain landscape! A walk to the Seewaldsee is worthwhile at any time of year and in any weather.
It can be reached from Fontanella/Säge in approx. 35 minutes. The slightly ascending and descending, low-traffic, asphalted road (access only permitted for residents) leads past the houses on the Garlitt plot and on to the Seewaldsee ravine.
Once you have crossed the imposing ravine, you come to the farmsteads of the Seewald parcel, which was once so difficult to reach. It is a walk that shows off the real harsh Walser landscape. Here, nestled in meadows, the small lake lies on the edge of a forest - as peaceful as only a mountain lake can lie there and smile. The beautiful surroundings with children's playground and barbecue area invite you to linger.
Visit the Seewaldsee on the interactive map of Boutique Hotel Die Mittagspitze.
