Schubertiade Schwarzenberg

Giving Franz Schubert the place he deserves alongside Mozart and Beethoven was the idea behind the first Schubertiade in 1976. Discovering new venues is part of the Schubertiade's tradition. Since its foundation in Hohenems in 1976, the Schubertiade has already been held in numerous locations and can look back on an "eventful history" in the truest sense of the word. From 1994 to 2000, in addition to the concerts in Feldkirch, so-called "country tours" were also held. These took the audience to extremely scenic locations. Schwarzenberg in the Bregenzerwald has also been the venue for an annual "Landpartie" since 1994 and has established itself as a permanent Schubertiade venue since the renovation of the Angelika Kauffmann Hall in 2001.
